4 Fascinating Tour Destinations
Bluffs, Caves, & Shorelines
Door County’s famously rocky shoreline is a big part of the peninsula’s ecological makeup and are best viewed by boat or kayak. Several boat tours offer bluff- and cave-specific scenic tours, by both motorized boat and by kayak.
Lighthouses
These iconic landmarks are not only great places for photo ops but are reminders of the region’s maritime past and present. Door County lighthouses are best viewed from the water but many of them also offer walking tours of the grounds.
Shipwrecks
While they aren’t visible from land, shipwrecks are a big part of the ‘scenery’ of Door County. The only way to see local shipwrecks is by guided boat or kayak tour.
Wineries
Door County is home to many wineries and even a cidery, each with its own unique style and flavor. Take a trolley tour to experience the Door County Wine Trail and learn how different wineries craft their product.
