A tranquil respite between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek, the tiny community of Juddville has charm worth a stop. One of the county’s original roadside farm stands welcomes you to the south, and in the center you’ll find a tasty Italian restaurant, a storied writer’s retreat, and one of the area’s most-respected art galleries.

Rustic country roads with gorgeous vistas will pull you off the main road, and the country’s oldest summer residence theater will wow you on the shores of Green Bay in nearby Fish Creek.

Peninsula Players is one of the most-respected small theaters in the country and a must-stop for any Door County vacation. You’ll also find an orchard farm market, galleries, and a great Italian restaurant and pizza stop. Write On! hosts writers from throughout the midwest, offers classes, and is home to a renowned writing center.

The Peninsula Players troupe has been putting on theatrical productions for more than 81 seasons. This renowned theatre is well worth the visit to nearby Fish Creek.
