Fun in the Snow

When the snow falls there are endless opportunities for fun in the open air to cure your cabin fever.

Snowshoe in the sanctuary, rent a fat bike and devour snow-covered trails, hit the fishing hole on the lake, and bring your sled to traverse the extensive Door County Snowmobile Trail.

Or, bring your human-powered sled for a trip (or 20) down Hill 17 in Peninsula State Park.

Winter’s Spectacular Light

Winter sunsets rival the best of the summer, casting a spectacular glow on the snow-swept shoreline.

Winter brings views you can’t see in the summer, and a chance to hike onto the lake for a new view.
