Door County, WI. (September 24, 2026) – Destination Door County’s (DDC) 2026–2027 Official Winter Guide is now available, highlighting the many ways to experience the peninsula during the winter months.
A supplement to Destination Door County’s Official Destination Guide, the Winter Guide serves as a helpful resource for planning a Door County winter getaway, featuring seasonal activities, events and businesses open from November through March.
New this year is “Pick Your Park,” a feature that helps readers choose a Door County state park for their winter adventure and pairs each park with ideas for making a day of it, including nearby dining recommendations.
The guide also brings back a local perspective, with a new group of Door County shop owners sharing their favorite places, activities and ways to enjoy the peninsula during the quieter winter months in a special feature headlined “What’s In Store.”
“Winter offers a different way to experience Door County, from outdoor adventures to cozy restaurants, shops and local businesses,” said Jon Jarosh, President & CEO of DDC. “The Winter Guide gives visitors the inspiration and resources they need to plan a getaway and discover what makes this season so special.”
A total of 20,000 copies of the 2026–2027 Official Winter Guide have been printed and will be distributed beginning this fall at the Door County Welcome Center, area visitor centers and businesses throughout the county.
Visitors can also view the digital Winter Guide online or order a free printed copy by calling 920.743.4456 or visiting DoorCounty.com.
