Jimmy Fortune

Jimmy’s recognizable tenor has graced some of the biggest hits of Country music, earning the Virginia native a CMA Award for “Vocal Group of the Year” with the Statler Brothers and a slot in both the hallowed ranks of the Country Music Hall of Fame as well as the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Joining the Statler Brothers in 1982, Fortune wrote and sang lead on many of their biggest hits including “Elizabeth,” “Too Much On My Heart,” and “Forever”. In addition to recording 4 solo albums, Jimmy has teamed up to record 3 projects with the Gaither Music Group and is also a member of a group called Brothers of the Heart.
