Door Countys 2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration returns this year as a vibrant, family-friendly event centered on the theme of Education and Empowerment. This free community celebration honors the history and significance of Juneteenth while creating space for learning, connection, and joy. The event will feature music and entertainment throughout the day, including sounds from Milwaukee-based DJ, radio personality, and founder of BLOWRADIO.COM, Homer Blow. Serving as MC is Ajamou Butler, an international speaker who brings energy, insight, and inspiration to the stage. Attendees will enjoy powerful performances, including gospel music by the Wisconsin Mass Choir, along with a variety of local talent. Guests can explore food offerings, community vendors, raffles, and interactive activities for all ages. Families are encouraged to stop by the Kids Corner, hosted by the Gnoshery, and join in classic fun like Double Dutch and hula hooping. This annual celebration invites residents and visitors alike to reflect, learn, and celebrate freedom, resilience, and culture in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Admission is free, and all are encouraged to attend.
