Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons white onion, minced
- 1/2 cup celery, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, minced
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups pre-cooked crabmeat
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons parsley
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- Sauté butter, onion, celery and red bell pepper. In a large bowl, combine sautéed mixture with all remaining ingredients. Mix well and shape into patties.
- Bake in the oven at 300° for 20 minutes and allow to cool. Garnish with fresh squeezed lemon juice. Yields approximately 12 patties. Pre-cooked patties can be wrapped in parchment paper, frozen, and cooked as needed.
