Door County, WI (February 20, 2026) – Destination Door County (DDC), the official tourism marketing and management organization for Door County, is proud to announce the release of the 2026 Door County Official Destination Guide, a comprehensive and inspiring resource designed to help visitors plan their perfect Door County getaway.

The 2026 guide invites travelers to experience Door County through vibrant editorial storytelling, curated travel ideas, and detailed listings of local businesses and organizations. Readers will find planning tools and inspiration across dedicated sections covering arts, history & culture, outdoor recreation, lodging, dining, shopping, services, group travel, event planning, and profiles that showcase the unique character of each Door County community.

Highlights of this year’s edition include a feature on Door County lodging, “Where History Meets Hospitality,” spotlighting our inns, bed and breakfasts, hotels, and motels alongside beautiful historic photos. The county’s vibrant creative spirit shines in “Art in Motion,” showcasing galleries, public art, theater, hands-on art experiences, and more. And in “Picture Perfect Picnics,” readers will be treated to mouthwatering visuals and inspiring ideas for savoring Door County’s scenic beauty with delicious local fare.

The 2026 Door County Official Destination Guide serves as Destination Door County’s primary fulfillment piece for travelers requesting information online or by phone at DoorCounty.com. A total of 180,000 copies have been printed for distribution in 2026.

Guides are available at visitor centers, travel agencies, and tourism outlets throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. Within Door County, visitors and residents can pick up copies at the Door County Welcome Center (1015 Green Bay Road in Sturgeon Bay) and community visitor centers across the peninsula. Local businesses are encouraged to offer complimentary guides to their customers, with delivery by The Paper Boy distribution service beginning in early March.
