Door County is ready to gear up for the winter season with the release of Door County’s new 2016-2017 Official Winter Guide.

A supplement to the Door County Visitor Bureau’s (DCVB) Official Visitor Guide, the winter guide provides visitors with winter activities, maps, winter hours for area businesses, and events from November through March.

The guide is available in hard-copy at the Door County Welcome Center and other area visitor centers, as well as a variety of businesses around the county. It is also available online as a virtual magazine and at other distribution points across the state of Wisconsin. Visitors can also order a free copy of the guide by calling 800-527-3529 or visiting DoorCounty.com.

“We’re thrilled for the arrival of our winter guide to showcase the winter season to our fall visitors,” said Jack Moneypenny, President/CEO of the DCVB. “Door County is a great getaway in the winter and this guide provides a great tool for vacation planning,” he said.

45,000 copies of the winter guide were printed this year. An online virtual version is available to read and is formatted for computers, smart phones, and tablets.

The Door County Visitor Bureau is the official tourism marketing organization for Door County, whose mission is to generate incremental economic impact for the community by attracting visitors with strategies that ensure sustainable tourism.
