Destination Door County Honors Hospitality Heroes in Fifth Annual Thank You Campaign

December 5, 2025 - Door County, WI. Destination Door County (DDC) recently concluded their fifth annual hospitality worker thank you campaign. The campaign was created to show gratitude towards area hospitality workers for their hard work throughout the year.

The community was asked to submit nominations of deserving individuals in the hospitality industry, and 115 nominations were received. To celebrate every nomination, they have all been posted at DoorCounty.com/hero for the public to read about some of Door County’s best in hospitality.

“Five years of celebrating our hospitality heroes has shown us one thing, our people make Door County unforgettable,” said Julie Gilbert, President & CEO of Destination Door County. “Year after year, these stories show how deeply our community values the people who make Door County welcoming for every visitor.”

Kristal Antholt from The Red Room was randomly selected among all nominees as the winner of this year’s prize.

Destination Door County would like to thank all hospitality workers for their work and efforts throughout the year and for a job well done.
