Community Survey Launched to Gather Door County Resident Input
Dec. 17, 2025, Door County, WI — Three community organizations – United Way of Door County, Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC), and Destination Door County (DDC) – have partnered to launch a countywide resident survey designed to better understand the needs, challenges, and opportunities facing Door County households.
The Door County Resident Survey is now open and is available at https://bit.ly/4a6iwBE.
Thesurvey invites residents to share experiences related to basic needs, access to childcare and health services, employment, community support, and overall well-being. Input will help partners evaluate how residents are doing, identify emerging gaps, and shape future collaboration and investment that strengthens quality of life across Door County.
“We know that the people who live here are the experts in what is working well and where support is needed,” said representatives from United Way of Door County, DCEDC, and DDC in a joint statement. “This survey gives residents a direct voice in shaping solutions and ensuring Door County continues to be a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.”
The survey is open to all residents and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Responses can be confidential if desired. As a thank you, participants may choose to enter a drawing to win a $100 Door County gift certificate. The survey will be open through January 16, 2026.
Findings from the survey will inform shared goals among the three organizations, guiding future community investments, program and service development, resource allocation to support basic needs, health, and childcare and collaboration among organizations, municipalities, and partners.
Paper copies are available upon request through United Way of Door County for those who prefer a non-digital option. The QR code can also be used to access the online survey:
