Whitacre Yacht Design is a full service naval architecture and marine
engineering firm. We routinely work with both sail and power boats,
both pleasure and small commercial vessels. Catamarans have been a
large part of our business, which was augmented when WYD served as
naval architect to Gunboat Catamarans. WYD is currently supporting
several building yards around the country, doing new design, refit and
US Coast Guard inspected vessels. We also represent Bruce Roberts
plans and kits within the US & Canada, having done so since 1999.
