Jackson Harbor Maritime Museum was established in 1978 in original buildings previously used by the fishing community based in this peaceful corner of Washington Island. Next door to a nature preserve, The Ridges, the museum has exhibits illustrating the history of commercial fishing, the ferry, and the local coast guard presence.
