Don McLean is a Grammy Award honoree, a Songwriter Hall of Fame member, and a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. His smash hit American Pie resides in the Library of Congress National Recording Registry and was named a Top 5 Song of the 20th Century by the Recording Industry of America. A New York native, Don McLean is one of Americas most revered and respected songwriters. After paying his dues in the New York club scene in the late 1960s, he went on to score mega-hits like Vincent (Starry, Starry Night), Castles in the Air, and many more.

Prior to the show, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Door Countys own Paul Taylor and Emilie Bishop will perform on the Okarma Concert Patio, located across the street at DCAs new Cramer Exchange facility. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, ice cream floats, and snacks will be available for purchase from Chuck & Chichis Soda Fountain & Encore Bar.
Don McLeans performance begins at 8 p.m. on July 29 and is sponsored by major sponsors Tom and Barbara Thurman and Dale and Margaret West; as well as supporting sponsors On Deck Clothing Company, The Doerr Family, and The DöRR Hotel.
Tickets range from $79-109; advance reservations are encouraged.
