Aubrey Johnson
is a New York-based jazz vocalist, composer, and educator. She’s contributed to more than 50 albums, including Bobby McFerrin’s Grammynominated VOCAbuLaries, Arturo O’Farrill’s Grammywinning Four Questions, and Lyle Mays’ Grammywinning Eberhard. Her Steve Robby-produced debut album Unraveled, released on Outside In Music in 2020, features her original music and arrangements. She teamed with pianist Randy Ingram for the 2022 Sunnyside Records duo project focusing on standards, Play Favorites. Her latest album, The Lively Air, was released in March, 2026 on Greenleaf Music. Presently on faculty at The New School and Montclair State University, she previously held positions at Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, her alma mater.

2X DownBeat Magazine Critics Poll Rising Star Alyssa Allgood is a dynamic vocalist, heart-forward songwriter, and captivating bandleader based in Chicago. Praised for her “boldness, swagger and surefooted musicianship” (DownBeat), Allgood’s modern approach to jazz is both vulnerable and confident, rooted in lyrical depth, vibrant musical interaction, and fierce improvisation. The inaugural winner of the Ella Fitzgerald Competition, Allgood has commanded iconic stages including Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai, Dizzy’s, Birdland, Mezzrow, the Green Mill, the Jazz Showcase and Blues Alley.

Vocalist Paul Marinaro has been described by Howard Reich of the Chicago Tribune as possessing “one of the most beautiful vocal instruments in the business today.” Based in Chicago, Marinaro has established himself as one of the most in-demand and respected jazz vocalists of his generation, earning recognition as “among the top five male jazz singers active today” (Scott Yanow, LA Jazz Scene). Known for his expressive phrasing and deep connection to lyric, Marinaro brings both authority and immediacy to his performances, engaging audiences through interpretations that are at once deeply rooted in tradition and unmistakably personal. Critic and author Neil Tesser has noted his “jazz-steeped, expressive baritone… interpreting intricate melodies with a fresh, innovative perspective.” In Chicago, he performs regularly to sold-out audiences at premier venues including the Jazz Showcase, Green Mill, Winter’s Jazz Club, and Studio5 Performing Arts Center.
