Ingredients
- For the Filling:
- 2lbs. honey crisp apples, sliced
- 1/3lb. unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- For the Streusel Topping:
- 2 cups rolled oats (do not use quick oats)
- 1/3lb. unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Combine apples, unsalted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Place ingredients in an ovenproof dish and bake at 350° F for 15–20 minutes or until apples are tender but not mushy.
- Place rolled oats, unsalted butter, pecans, brown sugar and flour in a bowl and mix well.
