Summary

Located in an original schoolhouse next to Newport State Park, this beloved Door County tradition first opened its doors in 1973. “Uncle” Tom Collis grew up making candy with his parents—German and Greek immigrants—who supported their growing family using the same tried and true recipes we still proudly make and enjoy today.

We specialize in small-batch Brittle, Chocolate Bark, Fudge, Marshmallows, Trail Chow, Pancake Mix, and so much more. Guests are also invited to explore our small museum, which shares the history of the schoolhouse, candy-making traditions, and the life of Uncle Tom—including the inspirational and powerful messages he left behind.
