AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES
By participating, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Winter Photo Promo. 

TERM
The Winter Photo Promo begins May 1, 2025, and ends June 13, 2025. All entries must be made on doorcounty.com/winter-photo-promo. Entries become the property of Sponsor.

HOW TO ENTER
To participate in the Winter Photo Promo, Entrants must upload their original photo taken in Door County during the wintertime. Multiple photos can be entered. The Sponsor is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, or delayed entries. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. 

By submitting photos, Entrants acknowledge the photos are original and that the Entrant has the right to submit the original photograph for use in the Sponsor’s advertising. 


PUBLICATION NOTIFICATION
If the Entrant's photograph is chosen for publication or use in Door County advertising, the Entrant will be notified by email. There is no compensation for use of the submitted photograph in any advertising materials created by the Sponsor or Madden Media.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
THIS PROMOTION IS VOID OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA, AND WHERE PROHIBITED. This sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Certain restrictions may apply.

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual deemed to be (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the promotion or Sponsor’s Website; or (b) acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  

ENTRANT LICENSES/RELEASES  
Entrants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and (b) if he/she has photos selected for publication in the destination guide or advertising, that Sponsor may use each winner’s name and photograph without compensation or approval (except where prohibited by law). 

RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
By participating in the Promotion, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Administrator, their respective parents, officers, directors, employees, agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. 

Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Promotion or downloading any materials in this Promotion. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Wisconsin. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Wisconsin or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Wisconsin.
