The Commandant's Shadow

In conjunction with the stage production of The Diary of Anne Frank, Rogue Theater will host a screening of the 2024 documentary film, The Commandant’s Shadow. The film focuses on the story of Jurgen H?ss, the son Auschwitz concentration camp director Rudolf Hoss, and his boyhood home life in the villa adjacent to it. The film also stars Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, an Auschwitz survivor who meets face-to-face with Jurgen H?ss decades later. The screening will be held Saturday, June 6th 7PM at the DC Arts Center. Admission is free.
