Yet the Alzheimer’s Association knows that for individuals experiencing memory loss, social engagement is critical in maintaining and promoting brain health. Memories in the Making? is the signature art program of the Alzheimer’s Association, introduced in 1988, that allows individuals with cognitive decline to express themselves through art and share the essence of who they are. Individuals living with cognitive decline participate in a creative social engagement session led by an instructor, in a safe space social gathering that allows people to connect, socialize, and build new support networks. All art supplies are provided. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Sharing Joyful Laughter, Stories and Creativity !
