“Drooling Pianos: Two Crusty Old Musicians and a Piano Whiz-Kid” Christmas Show

On Saturday, December 20, at 3 p.m., Colin & Friends will present a Christmas concert at Door Community Auditorium (DCA) entitled “Drooling Pianos: Two Crusty Old Musicians and a Piano Whiz-Kid.” Note that this time has changed from the originally advertised start time due to a change in the Packers’ schedule; the new start time is Packer-game friendly!

This?holiday?show features the virtuoso talent of four dueling pianists and two wonderful singers.?Seventeen-year-old steel pan virtuoso Jaden Teague, award-winning Washington Island pianist Jonathan Bass, and Door County concert pianist Jodie DeSalvo join Colin Welford, music director of Hamilton, Wicked, Disney’s Lion King, and Billy Elliot on Broadway. This crew of musicians will play three grand pianos all at the same time, including the famous double grand piano built on Washington Island, making this an unforgettable performance.

?“I love playing Christmas music,” said Welford, “and with four pianists together it may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience!”

?The show begins at 3 p.m. on December 20. Tickets cost $30, plus sales tax and a facility fee of $2/ticket and $6/order—or are free for students age 18 and under. Advance reservations are encouraged. The DCA box office is located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 12-5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person, on the phone at (920) 868-2728, or online at www.dcauditorium.org.
