Our Singing the Cradle

The Community Choir of Door County and The Peninsula Singers present, “Our Singing the Cradle,” a holiday choral concert featuring several works by composer and artist-in-residence Dr. David Brunner. Each choir will perform selections by Dr. Brunner as well as other pieces, separately and as a combined mass choir.?

?Dr. Brunner, Professor Emeritus at the University of Central Florida and Artistic Director of the Grande Prairie Singers in Chicago, IL, has conducted honor choirs and led workshops across 34 U.S. states and internationally in Canada, the UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia. The New York Times has described him as “a prolific choral writer whose name figures prominently on national repertory lists,” with his music performed and recorded worldwide in prestigious venues including London’s Royal Festival Hall, Disney Concert Hall, EPCOT, and Carnegie Hall.

The Peninsula Singers is a non-profit organization for experienced singers seeking a rich choral experience. This community choir is directed by Mary Hall and Avery Burns, and accompanied by Janet Anderson. More information can be found at facebook.com/tpsvocals.?
