The changing of seasons breathes new life into the area. Canopies of trees are alight with color, the air and ground carry palpable dew, and the streets, beaches, and parks are noticeably clearer as the kids commence a new school year and seasonal residents return home. It’s a wonderful time here. A time of clear schedules, clear minds, and clearly a time to get outdoors before winter comes.
While there are fewer people enjoying the County, those that are visiting and those who live here year-round take full advantage of it. You’ll see people taking in all of fall’s beauty on bikes, hikes, and on scenic drives through the parks. Foodies flock to flavorful fall festivals and taste all of the traditional, and not-so-traditional cuisine our chefs create out of local ingredients. And people take to the quickly cooling lake for fishing, sunsets, scuba diving, and sailing. Fall is the perfect time to get back outdoors and back to what you love.
It’s your life; start living it well with a getaway to Door County.
