3 green apples
3 red apples
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Chop the apples into small chunks, then add all ingredients into a medium sauce pan and mix. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 12 minutes. Sprinkle some chopped pecans over the top for crunch, and you’ve got a delicious side dish with Door County flavor.
