This performance features rising stars Ezra Calvino and Thomas Nettle as part of the Karen Smuda Emerging Conductor Program, providing a unique look at the next generation of orchestral leadership. The program tracks the musical journey from the Classical era to the fiery spirit of Romanticism, opening with the vibrant energy of Mendelssohn’s Sinfonia No. 10.
