Ledge Blanc

Summary

At the heart of Ledge Blanc is a spirit of collaboration. A single winemaker only gets one chance each year to perfect a vintage—but by working together, we share insights into the season, our soils, our strengths, challenges, and overall character of our wines as a whole. Collaboration allows us to see the bigger picture and push for a higher standard and a deeper understanding of what Wisconsin wine can be. The Ledge Blanc Project was established in 2023 to celebrate and promote the Wisconsin Ledge AVA and its wines. By identifying what grapes were thriving on The Ledge and what the winemakers were making with them, we saw a regional style already beginning to express itself as exemplary. We realized the bright, fresh, aromatic and expressive white wines coming from our region were something to be talked about.
