Summary

The mission of the Jacksonport Historical Society is educational in nature through the study of the Township of Jacksonport, its history, people, land and buildings. The Society’s intent is to promote this education through historical programs, research, publications, commemorative activities, collection of tangible historical memorabilia and to establish a museum to house, exhibit and preserve this material for future generations. The Jacksonport Historical Society invites you to become a Keeper of the Past. Your interest and skill in research, coordinating programs, serving as a docent, or other activities will continue to preserve the history for future generations.
