There is a one week minimum between June 1st and August 31st and a three day minimum the remainder of the year. Check in time is 3pm. Check out time is 10am. $100 cleaning fee. Firewood is available for $10 per day of use in fireplace or on beach. Consider spending a weekend or a full week with us. Door County winters are beautiful - a hidden gem of the off-season. Imagine horse-drawn sleigh rides through snowy woods, snowshoeing and fat-tire biking on scenic trails, or sipping wine during a heated trolley ride. Explore guided winter hikes at the Ridges Sanctuary or enjoy magical candle lit walks at Crossroads at Big Creek. After a day of winter adventures, return to the cozy warmth of our cottage and unwind by the crackling wood-burning fireplace - the perfect ending to a lovely winter day! Debenham Cottage is located on Lake Michigan just south of the Sturgeon Bay ship canal. You have immediate access to over 1 mile of wide sand beach. Enjoy the moon rise around a fire on the beach with a glass of your favorite wine.
RATES - Rates are $225/night or $1575/week plus taxes. $250 Non-refundable. Credit cards not accepted. We use Zelle and US Postal service for mailed checks.

From Hwy turnoff to Debenham Cottage is 4 miles
Approaching Sturgeon Bay on Route 42/57 to County U (do not cross the bridge)
Turn right on County U (also known as Clay Banks Road) for 1.7 miles
Turn left onto Sand Lane for just .2 miles
Turn left at the first cross street onto Lake Lane for 1.7 miles
Turn right onto South Lake Michigan Drive for .4 miles to 2389 S Lake Michigan Dr
