This beautiful Aspen style home is on a 2 1/2 acre wooded site with 175 feet of private beach and is located in the town of Gills Rock on last bay of Green Bay. I love Gills Rock as you are in a quieter environment but can easily get to Sister Bay in 11 minutes. The house is an A-frame with vaulted cedar ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows that bring in the water view while the back and sides of the house border woods. There are two bedrooms both with a queen bed and a bathroom off of each bedroom. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. A natural stone wood burning fireplace is in the living room with comfortable seating for five where you can watch satellite tv. The home is CLEAN and has a fully equipped kitchen with electric range, oven, microwave, coffee pot, blender, and Cuisinart (no dish washer). The wooded setting and our bird feeders attract a myriad of birds throughout the day.
There is 175 feet of beach and a natural stone patio complete with fire pit. You can relax on the wrought iron patio set, take a swim in the bay, or fish off of the dock. By the water you will enjoy some of the nicest sunsets you have ever seen.
Our home is a great jumping off spot for your day’s activities in Door County. Take a walk along the shore or challenge yourself on the hilly roads on your bicycle.There is a lot to do or you can choose to do nothing!
