Although Birch does not have a full kitchen, it is perfect for a few day’s stay - with a medium-sized fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, kettle and a pretty dining table & chairs for four. A patio door leads out into a private garden nook, but from there it is mere steps away from a huge fantasy garden which guests are free to use. This creatively landscaped “Secret Garden” is already attracting attention of gardeners nationwide, and is already documented in the Smithsonian Institute’s 'Archive of American Gardens'. It's no wonder that guests return to the Birch Retreat year after year for the peace and comfort it offers, and to enjoy a garden environment unlike any other in Door County.
