The light and open beach house has three bedrooms,1.5 baths on beautiful sand beach of Lake Michigan. Enjoy long walks, swimming and watching sunrises. Cave Point Drive is a great place for jogging, biking or nature walks. 2 miles to Cave Pt. Cty. Park, Whitefish Bay Dunes, Clark Lake and public boat launch. 15 minutes from Fish Creek, Sister Bay, Ephraim, Egg Harbor and Sturgeon Bay. THE BEACH HOUSE SLEEPS A MAXIMUM OF SIX PEOPLE. NO PETS. The beach house is centrally located on the peninsula in Jacksonport, the quiet side of Door County known for its spectacular sunrises and sand beaches. It features a wraparound deck facing the water with built in bench seating; patio table and chairs, charcoal grill and deck walk out to the beach.
Inside you will find an open living area with large fieldstone fireplace, Direct T.V., DVD , puzzles , games , books, and videos. we have WiFi internet access. The large windows allow you to enjoy the wonderful view of the beach and Lake Michigan with light shining in from the skylights.
The complete kitchen also has a toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, breakfast bar and dining area. Off the main area is a bedroom/sitting room with a comfortable full size sleeper sofa. The spiral staircase leads to the two other bedrooms. The lakeside master bedroom has a queen sized bed; the other upstairs bedroom has a day bed with trundle. The beach house comfortably sleeps six. An ideal place to get away to.
If you are unfamiliar with Door County we are happy to give suggestions on "must do’s". If rain comes, there is still plenty to do on the peninsula.... paint your own pottery, glassware, wood, or beading, visit art galleries, wineries, the Maritime Museum, Peninsula Players Theater, Northern Sky Theater, bowling, utilizing the YMCA in Sturgeon Bay with indoor walking tracks, heated swimming pool, basketball courts and weight rooms.
