House Keeping Plan
When you arrive, look for the Electrical Box inside the front door (Lakeshore). Turn on all the breakers with White marks. When you leave turn off all the breakers with White marks.
Queen Size Bed, and two Twin Beds are provided...Lakeshore and Shadows of Seagulls. See below for STNY.
Please bring your:___Sheets, ___Pillows, ___Blankets, ___Towels, and ___ Dish Cloths
The kitchen is furnished with dishes, glasses, cups, basic kitchen tools, coffeepot, toaster, microwave, range & refrigerator. Feel free to use these, remember where you got things from, please clean them and put them back when you are finished.
The Cottage is on a Holding Tank, so try to be conservative with shower time.
The water comes from a well, but it is high in iron.. You may want to bring water for drinking and coffee.
No phone will ring at the cabin, unless it is your mobile phone. We have Sprint phones and the service is very good.
The parking area is pretty well defined.
The wood stove in the living room (LS and SOS and bedroom at STNY) is decorative only, please do not attempt to use it.
If the weather is unseasonably cold, you may use the electric heat. There are thermostats in the living room, bedroom and bathroom. When not in use, please turn them down all the way.
Ample Cleaning Supplies are in the closet. The cottage should be clean when you arrive. If it is not to your satisfaction, you may submit a bill for additional supplies and a reasonable charge for your time.
When leaving, please remember to return all furniture and furnishings to the way it was when you arrived.

4. _____ Turn off the Electrical Breakers with the White marks.

7. _____ Check out time is 12:00 noon, unless otherwise arranged.
We hope you enjoy your stay at our cottage and will leave it nicer than you found it (since there’s no cleaning service that comes before the next resident arrives).
The State Parks have wonderful programs/nature tours (you can call or drive over to get their schedule). White Fish Dunes State Park tops them all with the sugar sand beach and great trails. Cave Point County Park (no sticker required) is a short distance South. We are minutes away from the "active" side of the peninsula where you may want to take in the Skyway (outdoor) Theater, Peninsula Players, a fish boil at the White Gull Inn or whatever...On our "refreshingly quiet" side there is the the Town Hall Bakery for an excellent breakfast or Mike’s Port Pub for a great burger, hearty breakfast, or Friday Fish Fry in Jacksonport. Island Fever in Jacksonport has fun, unique meals for any age.

Lakeshore Road is curved and quaint and just the perfect place for a stroll.
