Summary
Skölland Jewelry creates dark, story-driven fine jewelry inspired by mythology, folklore, gothic architecture, and celestial imagery. Studio jeweler Claire Steckel hand-carves each piece in Argentium silver and 10K–18K gold from her studio in Door County, Wisconsin. Her work translates themes such as identity, grief, transformation, and meaning into wearable form — pieces meant to be worn for a lifetime rather than a season. For her one-of-a-kind work, the mold is destroyed during the casting process, ensuring each piece exists only once. Skölland offers made-to-order collection work, one-of-a-kind originals, and custom commissions in silver and gold. Studio visits available by appointment.
