Tuscany in Door County

Photo by Morgan Mann. When you  visit Stones Throw Winery in the center of the Door County peninsula, it's like you've stepped into Italy. With a contemporary barn restoration, beautiful landscaping and a welcoming atmosphere, you'll see why it's not hard to fall in love. Popular for both engagement photos and weddings alike, you'll find lots of spaces to entertain both you and your guests. Images courtesy of Stones Throw Winery. I had a chance to talk this past fall with Deb Paul, the Director of Special & Private Events, where I was able to ask a few questions that every bride wonders when thinking of booking a wedding venue, and also snap a few photos of the spaces around Stones Throw Winery. As a bride, is it best to contact you through phone or email? Email: specialevents@stonesthrowwinery.com is best but phone works great too (920-839-9660). How many areas do you have that can accommodate weddings? You’ll find that the uniqueness and aesthetic beauty found at Stone’s Throw Winery will offer your event a one-of-a-kind flair that makes your function truly memorable! We have 8 spaces around the property, and each of our event spaces offer something special and will cater to an array of styles and budgets. How many can fit in each space? We can several indoor spaces that can accommodate up to 100, add a tent rental and there is no limit. What kind of parking do you have (lot/street)? Parking lot Are you wheelchair accessible? All of our indoor spaces are wheelchair accessible What restrictions or general policies do you have? We require every bride to work with an event coordinator, we suggest Carrie Baldwin of Door County Meeting & Event Planners
