Potawatomi State Park
Potawatomi State Park is the southernmost of the parks in Door county, and with just under 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, this is definitely a place that you’re going to want to keep coming back to. The view from the tower is especially breathtaking, and the quiet, simplicity of this park is what’s the most memorable to me. The trailhead for the Ice Age Trail (a 1,000 mile trail spanning throughout Wisconsin) also happens to be located here, which is pretty cool if you ask me!
