Grazing on Tapas

I’m a Northern Door County native who has spent 20 of my 23 years living in Ephraim and Sister Bay. I have worked in the restaurant industry since I was 8 years old, when my parents owned and operated Digger's Grill and Pizza until I was 16. Since then I have worked nearly all positions in a restaurant, namely baking and cooking at local restaurants such as T. Ashwell's (now The Wickman House) in Ellison Bay and Base Camp in Sister Bay. Line cooking at one of Vail, Colorado's top-rated restaurants, Sweet Basil was my first introduction into the artistic side of cooking, and contributed to my developed pallet and love for food arts. In general, I'm a very upbeat, positive individual with a passion for food, culinary arts and the Door County community.
