Family Man Insider Family Man Insider

In 2004 a friend convinced me to come to Door County to work for the summer. I met a girl, fell in love (with her and the county), and we made the peninsula our permanent home in 2007. I now find myself married, raising a toddler son, teaching social studies at Gibraltar, and drinking copious amounts of coffee. I believe Door County is the ideal place to strike the balance between the responsibilities of life and the invigorating freedom of a bike ride on empty back-roads.
