Sept. 3 - Oct. 23

Celebrate the harvest of Door County, featuring culinary delights including all things made with cherries, apples and other fresh produce from farmer’s markets. Door County wine, festival fare plus performances, art, music, delightful attractions and a wide variety of accommodations. The season is bursting with celebrations and color.

Rides and Runs

Fall may be the most beautiful time of year to take on a silent sports challenge in Door County, and if you want to do it with friends, you’re in luck. The season starts with the 38th annual Door County Century Ride Sept. 11, starting and finishing at the Door County Fairgrounds in Sturgeon Bay. For runners, there’s a 9-11 Fun Run in Sturgeon Bay the same day.

On Sept. 17, your challenge is in Sister Bay with the Peninsula Century Ride Fall Challenge on the grounds of Sister Bay’s beautiful Waterfront Park. On Sept. 24, start Baileys Harbor Autumnfest with a run in the Hey Hey 5k at Door County Brewing Co.

Sturgeon Bay offers the Potawatomi State Park Run Wild Oct. 8. Finally, October brings the Door County Fall 50, challenging teams and solo runners to conquer the peninsula in a run from the tip at Shoreline Restaurant in Gills Rock all the way down the shoreline to Sturgeon Bay.

Sister Bay Marina Fest

Live entertainment and music at the Sister Bay stage next to the beach, food & drinks, wooden boat show, kid's carnival, water ski show by Waterboard Warriors (Sunday), and fireworks over the bay (Saturday).

Ephraim Vintage Festival Hill Climb and Concours’ D’elegance

Sept. 9 - 11

Ephraim

This beautiful, challenging course winds its way through the picturesque village streets and traverses the steep Niagara Escarpment on Saturday. Sunday will find the vehicles lined up along the beautiful Eagle Harbor for judging and viewing by the public.

Corn Fest

Featuring a 20-acre Corn Maze, children's games, bakery items, food, raffle, silent auction, plus corn and pie eating contests. Proceeds benefit Sunshine House.

Sturgeon Bay Harvest Festival and Street Auction

Sept. 17

Sturgeon Bay

Usher in the spirit of autumn with a bountiful day on Third Avenue. Features include a classic car show, craft show, food booths, in-store specials, children’s activities, and live entertainment. Preview unique street art and attend the live auction at 5:30pm.

Pumpkin Mania

Sept. 24

Lodge at Leathem Smith, Sturgeon Bay

We try to get the biggest pumpkin’s to break state record. Growers from all over the Midwest. Fun for the whole family, food and live music. Will the record be broken again in Door County? Come find out.

Egg Harbor Ale Fest

A beer lover’s escape in Egg Harbor! Enjoy unlimited sampling of more than 40 brewers and 120 different craft beers, live music, with free trolley shuttle service.

Baileys Harbor Autumnfest

Baileys Harbor

Baileys Harbor celebrates the fall with live music, food and drinks, arts and crafts, a Classic Auto and Motorcycle Show, plus the Hey Hey 5k Run at Door County Brewing Co. on Saturday morning. Check out the farm market on Sunday from 9am-1pm.

Fish Creek Inside Outside Sale

Sept. 23 - 25

Fish Creek

Fish Creek retailers will showcase special sale merchandise both inside and outside of their shops for unbeatable end-of-season sales all weekend long. Free trolley rides will be offered throughout the village on Saturday.

Fall Harvest Fest

Orchard Country Winery and Market, Fish Creek

Another great event in Fish Creek on the same day as Inside Outside Sales! Enjoy complimentary wine and specialty food tasting, pick-your-own apples, free guided tours, wagon rides,live music, kid's activities, and more! The fun also includes: Apple Donut Eating Contest and Apple Pie Eating Contest. Free admission.

Fall Fun Fest and Cider Pressing Party  

Oct. 8

Washington Island Farm Museum

Bring your own apples or buy a bucket to press into a gallon of cider. Live entertainment, wagon rides, dip your own caramel apples on the spot, brats, chili, hot and cold fresh pressed cider. Kids old fashioned games on Saturday at 1pm.

Pumpkin Patch Festival

Egg Harbor

A perfect fall family event as Egg Harbor reaches its full color. Carnival rides at the marina, arts and crafts vendors, silent auction, live music, scarecrow and pumpkin displays, food, refreshments and more.

Apple Festival

Oct. 8

Seaquist Orchards, Sister Bay

Apple launching, pumpkin painting, indoor and outdoor mazes, make your own caramel apples, live band, brats, soup and fun at the home of Door County’s largest orchards.
