The final vestiges of winter are starting to melt away, bringing with it the freshness and life of spring. Get in your final days of skiing and snowshoeing before the trails become ripe for running and biking. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Celebrate your Irish spirit in Sturgeon Bay! Put on your greenest gear and head downtown for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Baileys Harbor Brown Trout Tournament

Throughout Door & Kewaunee Counties
April 19-22
Fish by trolling, casting off docks or outcroppings, or wading up inland streams. Prizes are awarded to the Top 40 fish with payouts totaling over $7,000! Sunday night is the final weigh-in which features live music, food and drinks. There will also be raffles and more. More here>>

Southern Door Eagles Trail Trot

A great community-wide run/walk organized by the Southern Door Elementary Parents Involved in Education. All proceeds are donated back to Southern Door students.

Door County Half Marathon & Nicolet Bay 5k

Peninsula State Park

Named one of the Midwest’s best races by Competitor and, participants enjoy a closed, USATF-certified road course in Peninsula State Park. Post-race party with food, Door County Brewing Co. beer and live music.

Sturgeon Bay Shipyard Tours

Throughout Sturgeon Bay
May 5
Experience an insider’s view of the shipbuilding industry in Sturgeon Bay. Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding and Centerpointe Yacht Services open their doors to the public. The Door County Maritime Museum and the working waterfront of the west side are also included in the tour. Sandwiches and refreshments available for purchase at Bay Ship.

Blossom Run

Egg Harbor Launch Park

7am. Registration. 8:30am. Race Starts. Fun, family event for all ages. Choose from a 5-mile run, a 2-mile walk-run or a 1-mile youth run. Join in the "Live Strong" relay. 9:30am. Youth race starts.

Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament

The waters surrounding Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, teem with world class smallmouth bass fishing and participants keep weighing in more and bigger fish each and every year. Featuring live weigh in, kids day, dock dance, drinks, food, and raffle.

Washington Island Bird Festival

Explore the wild nature of Washington and Rock Islands. Locate, identify and enjoy the common as well as unusual birds, and learn about the miracle of bird migration.

Blessing of the Fleet Festival

Bring your personal boat to receive a blessing. Meet with ship captains and enjoy a fish boil, live music, food and drinks, and arts & crafts fair all day.

Spring Art Crawl

Explore one-of-a-kind art galleries, shops, and nature trails. Enjoy refreshments and demonstrations while browsing this unique event. Maps are available at all member galleries.
