Harbor Holiday

December 7-8
Baileys Harbor

The annual parade starts at 5pm and runs north along State 57 from Bluff Road to the Town Hall parking lot, with Santa Claus leading the way aboard a fire truck. Caroling will take place along the route, and people are invited to become part of the parade by walking behind Santa's truck. Afterwards, join the Harbor Holiday party from 5:30-6:30pm inside Town Hall with arts and crafts, food, and refreshments. And don’t miss the tree lighting ceremony, starting at 6pm outside Town Hall.

Other holiday happenings take place before the parade and tree lighting including an annual Holiday Fair from 10am-3pm at Town Hall, sponsored by the Door County North Rotary Club, with proceeds from sales going to the club's youth and environmental action projects. Children can create button and snowflake crafts while sipping hot apple cider from 10am-1pm at the local branch of the Door County Library and in the Town Hall.

At the Ridges Sanctuary visitors will find the annual wreath-making workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Participants use natural materials collected from the sanctuary to make their own winter wreath to take home. Cost is $20 for the first wreath, $10 each additional wreath or swag, and supplies are provided.

"Harbor Holiday" is sponsored by the Baileys Harbor Community Association and Baileys Harbor Historical Society. For more information, call 920-839-2366 or visit baileysharbor.doorcounty.com.
