April 8 - June 4
A celebration of spring in Door County. As the peninsula's natural splendor comes to life, so do local lodging establishments, galleries, and restaurants with special packages to welcome you back to the Door. Peninsula State Park
Held annually the first Saturday in May, the Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k in Peninsula State Park has earned a reputation as one of the best half marathons in the Midwest. The race attracts more than 2,700 participants who flood northern Door shops, restaurants and taverns as many businesses open their doors for the season. Details>>

A women’s getaway weekend in the village known for its specialty women’s clothing boutiques and seasonal charm. Enjoy workshops, fitness classes, wine tastings, cooking classes, shopping and a wonderful weekend with friends. Details>>

The first of two Sturgeon Bay bass tournaments (the other is the weekend after labor day). Fish in the waters surrounding Sturgeon Bay with world class smallmouth bass fishing. Limited to 200 two-person teams. Details>>

Celebrate the Blessing of the Fleet on two days packed with activities in Baileys Harbor. Tour the Baileys Harbor Range Lights, enjoy an arts and crafts fair, stock up at the farmer's market, and enjoy the annual Scottie Dog Rally through town.
The blessing of the fleet ceremony takes place at the marina at noon, followed by music and food throughout the afternoon! Learn about the fisheries with presentations from longtime fishermen Dennis Hickey and Charlie Henriksen, plus author Trygvie Jensen. Details>>

Wisconsin State Parks
All day entrance to any Wisconsin state park, forest, trail and recreation areas is free. Get outside and enjoy one of our many state parks with no passes or stickers required. In addition, all day residents and nonresidents of all ages can fish without a license (or trout or salmon stamps) in all the waters of Wisconsin. All other fishing regulations still apply.
June 8 - 11
