Spring is here, which means the Door County events calendar is filling up with great things to do inside and out every weekend. Here’s a sneak preview of the biggest highlights on the calendar in the weeks to come!

Season of Blossoms

April 8 - June 4

A celebration of spring in Door County. As the peninsula's natural splendor comes to life, so do local lodging establishments, galleries, and restaurants with special packages to welcome you back to the Door. Baileys Harbor Brown Trout Tournament

April 19 - 22

The 29th Annual Tourney offers more than $7,000 in prizes. Entries are just $25. The Top 40 fish caught in Door or Kewaunee waters receive cash prizes. Get out for this early season fishing to chase those monster browns. Tickets will be on sale starting April 1. More info>>

Door County Half Marathon

Peninsula State Park
May 5

Held annually the first Saturday in May, the Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k in Peninsula State Park has earned a reputation as one of the best half marathons in the Midwest. The race attracts more than 2,700 participants who flood northern Door shops, restaurants and taverns as many businesses open their doors for the season. Details>>

Door County Y Blossom Run

Egg Harbor
May 12

7am. Registration. 8:30am. Race Starts. Fun, family event for all ages. Choose from a 5-mile run, a 2-mile walk-run or a 1-mile youth run. Join in the "Live Strong" relay. 9:30am. Youth race starts.  More info>>

Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament

May 18 - 19

The waters surrounding Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, teem with world class smallmouth bass fishing and participants keep weighing in more and bigger fish each and every year. Featuring live weigh in, kids day, dock dance, drinks, food, and raffle.  Details>>

Washington Island Bird Festival

Throughout Washington Island

Explore the wild nature of Washington and Rock Islands. Locate, identify and enjoy the common as well as unusual birds, and learn about the miracle of bird migration.

Blessing of the Fleet

Baileys Harbor
May 19

Celebrate the Blessing of the Fleet with activities in Baileys Harbor. Tour the Baileys Harbor Range Lights, enjoy an arts and crafts fair, stock up at the farmer's market, and enjoy the annual Scottie Dog Rally through town.

The blessing of the fleet ceremony takes place at the marina at noon, followed by music and food throughout the afternoon!. Details>>
