June and July bring events for people of all interests to Door County. Whether you're into open-air painting, beer and wine, local food, or just a celebration with fireworks, every weekend offers a reason to get out.
Wisconsin State Parks
All day entrance to any Wisconsin state park, forest, trail and recreation areas is free. Get outside and enjoy one of our many state parks with no passes or stickers required. In addition, all day residents and nonresidents of all ages can fish without a license (or trout or salmon stamps) in all the waters of Wisconsin. All other fishing regulations still apply.
June 8 - 11
A week-long songwriting and recording festival that culminates in a series of performances of newly written songs at the Holiday Music Motel, and music in bars and venues throughout the city.

Boat excursions and guided land-based tours to all 11 historic Door County lighthouses gives visitors access to lighthouses that aren’t typically open to the public, including Chambers Island, Plum Island and Sherwood Point lighthouses. Get tickets.
Al Johnson’s, Sister Bay
Enjoy live music outside by Cardinal Harbor, fun kids games, Swedish pancake eating contest, goat drop contest, food and beverages available and the annual Goat Parade in Sister Bay.
This festival features a variety of local bands, food including varieties of side pork, entertainment zones for adults, and the Hog Wild Run.
A celebration of craft beer, culinary artisans and live music on the shores of Baileys Harbor. Meet Wisconsin’s leading brewers, Door County’s top chefs and enjoy beers from more than 50 different Midwest breweries. Get tickets.
Door County’s premier spring century ride takes riders on a tour of the peninsula’s beautiful back roads and waterviews. Routes of 25, 50, 62 and 100 miles, with six aid stations and a post-ride meal from Thyme Catering, local chefs and beer from Door County Brewing Co. Register here.
This festival includes artists, food, musical entertainment, family activities, and traditional bonfires along the picturesque shoreline of Eagle Harbor welcome the arrival of summer. Hop on the trolley or stroll through the village and visit Ephraim’s iconic landmarks, shops, galleries and restaurants.

June 23 - 25
One of the county’s oldest celebrations features a parade, children's activities, art demonstrations, arts and crafts, food and fun for the whole family.
Celebrate the villages fantastic new beach and pavilion with a beach party with live music, food, volleyball and fireworks over the water. Take a yoga class or try out kayaks & SUPs at Paddlefest.
Featuring wine tasting from all eight award-winning local wineries. There will also be wine pairings, demonstrations, food and a variety of live music. Get info and tickets here.
Enjoy small-plate, gourmet dishes from restaurants throughout Door County, as well as samplings from local markets, wineries and distilleries. Well-known local acoustic musicians will perform live throughout the day. Get details.
6pm. Big Mouth will heat up the stage. 8:45pm. A lighted Dinghy/Boat parade will take over Fish Creek harbor. 10pm. Fireworks will be on display. Excitement and fun for all ages. Big Dogs baseball tournament, coed volleyball tournament, Cooyah Card tournament, live music by Modern Day Drifters, parade, food & beverages, and 1, 2, and 4 mile walk/run. $2 raffle ticket to enter grounds. All profits go to charitable causes.

Free events throughout the week at various Door County locations provide attendees the opportunity to meet featured artists at their easels; this includes the Featured Artists' Quick Paint on Saturday July 29, followed by a live auction at noon of the festival artists' freshly created work. Among ticketed events are the Collector's Preview and Gala Auction, which offer the first rights of purchase of paintings on July 29. The public exhibition and purchase of works runs from July 29 - August 12.
