Northern Sky Theater

Northern Sky is a must-see Door County entertainment experience – now with two unique theaters. Enjoy original musicals under the stars in rotating repertory nestled in the woods outdoors at the Peninsula Park Amphitheater June – August. Relax indoors at the intimate Gould Theater June – October. Song of the Island Seas

The inaugural show of the Heritage Ensemble in 1970, Song of the Inland Seas is a musical revue of the nineteenth century on the Great Lakes weaving jokes, journal entries, and narration together with authentic folk songs.

Two DJs. One Blizzard. No Records. When a snowstorm knocks out the county and the local radio station loses its tie to the pre-programmed feed, the DJs have to punt, and a rejuvenated station brings back spontaneity and joy to the community it serves. 3 actors – 15 characters – no dead air!
