Under new ownership and renovated in 2018 one of Wisconsins oldest bowling alleys has quickly become one of Door Countys hottest spots for not only family fun but has a hip nightlife vibe too. Located in Sturgeon Bays historical Main Street district this 15,000 square foot building was built in 1929 as Congress Recreation parlors and has continuously ran as a bowling alley since. The first floor restoration exposed brick walls, original terrazzo flooring and added large facade windows not unlike what the original architectural drawings hung near the entrance show. The menu features locally sourced hot dogs, brats, and hand tossed pizzas along with other fun snacks and charcuterie boards. The 8 tap beers are exclusive to Wisconsin beer plus Baumeister Root Beer (try their amazing floats!) and Nitro Cold brew coffee (their cocktail with bourbon cream is the bomb). Craft cock & mocktails menus are held in old bowling balls on the custom made retro inspired tables.
