Door County offers visitors a wide selection of great camping facilities in conjunction with all of the wonderful attractions on the Peninsula. Whether you're in an RV, a pop-up camper or a tent, you're sure to find a camp site that will suit your camping needs.
Campground amenities include clean bathroom & shower facilities, swimming pools, laundry facilities, recreation centers and organized activities. Each Door County campground will provide slightly different amenities, but all will provide you with fun and fond memories of your camping trip to the Door Peninsula.
Want to go camping but don’t have the right gear? Some campgrounds rent small cabins and even Yurts, a covered circular structure based on ancient Mongolian tents. Either will keep the weather outside and you cozy and comfortable inside while the soft chirp of crickets puts you to sleep after an unforgettable day of Door County adventures.
Both private campgrounds and state park campgrounds are available, including backpack only camping on Rock Island State Park at the northeastern-most tip of the Peninsula and at Newport State park.
