Opened in 1909, Peninsula State Park, one of five state parks in Door County, is a 3,776 acre gem located on Door County's western coast. It offers visitors a multitude of activity options all year long including an
18 hole championship golf course, hiking, bicycle trails, VITA course, camping, swimming, boat/bike rentals, boat ramp, observation tower, lots of scenic overlooks, summer theater, nature programs, fishing, groomed ski trails, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding and even winter camping! This park is also home to Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, which was built in 1868, and is open for public tours from May through October. The park offers a safe harbor, has over six miles of shoreline and is a must see on any visit to Door County.
