Wednesday, April 11th, 2012: Public Relations Seminar - Bertschinger Center, Egg Harbor from 9:am to 11:am. In partnership with our PR agency, Geiger & Associates Public Relations, the DCVB Communcations & PR department will be hosting a public relations seminar from 9:00 - 11:30 AM at the Bertschinger Center in Egg Harbor. The free educational session will feature speakers Debbie Geiger and Traci Klepper and will focus on best practices in tourism public relations. The session will also talk about the DCVB's media marketing program and explain how member tourism partners can maximize their participation and chances of getting media coverage resulting from their hosting journalists during our press trips. Following the morning session, member partners will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with our presenters from Geiger & Associates to talk and ask questions about their own business's PR efforts or materials in the afternoon. Individual 15-20 minute appointments may be scheduled between 1 PM and 4:20 PM, and can be arranged through Jon by e-mail at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Appointments will be scheduled via e-mail on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning on Thursday March 8, 2012. Feel free to contact Jon with any questions. Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 – Incorporating Video & TV into Your Marketing – Alexander’s, Fish Creek at 5:30pm

The DCVB and Time Warner Cable would like to invite you to attend a special member program designed to help you learn how to incorporate video and TV into your marketing strategies through our co-op marketing program. TWC will walk you through the network choices and provide detailed information about where your commercials could be airing in NE Wisconsin and, JVS Productions’ Jeff Sericati will be on hand to answer all of your spot production questions. Thursday, April 26th, 2012: Member Mixer - Ellison Bay from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Join us for a Round-Robin style mixer to visit "Downtown Ellison Bay" businesses on the Door County Trolley and network members of our business community. Tours will start at the Mink River Basin and will make the rounds to the Bayview Resort (check out Sail Door County's newest sailboat) - on to Island Orchard Cider to sample their line of authentic hard ciders - Savory Spoon Cooking School and back to Mink River Basin to mix and mingle!

Tuesday, May 8th, 2012: National Travel & Tourism Week Breakfast - Stone Harbor Resort from 8:am to 10:am. Join us as we kick off our summer season and celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week with a special breakfast featuring special guest and keynote speaker, Sephanie Klett, Secretary of Tourism for the State of Wisconsin.
