MISSION

The Door County Visitor Bureau is the official tourism marketing organization whose mission is to generate incremental economic impact for the Door County Peninsula and Washington Island by attracting visitors with strategies that ensure sustainable tourism marketing and management principles.

VISION

The Door County Peninsula and Washington Island are internationally recognized as a "must see" destination. The County’s thriving travel and hospitality economy provides quality growth that does not deplete the natural and built environment and preserves the culture, history and heritage of the community. The Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB) is recognized throughout the County as a highly effective and efficient marketing organization enhancing the quality of life for everyone in Door County. All businesses support the work of the DCVB through membership, participation in the organization and enthusiasm about the future of Door County’s travel and hospitality industry. The high level of participation, enthusiasm, commitment to excellence and genuine Midwest hospitality ensures that all visitors to the Door County Peninsula and Washington Island enjoy a vacation experience that exceeds their expectations, they will return frequently, stay longer and tell all their friends and family about this extraordinary destination.
