chives Chives Door County

Chives Door County in Baileys Harbor brings you a casual atmosphere inspired by JR Schoenfeld, chef/owner.  Chives Door County is one of his four restaurants including Chives in Suamico, Bleu in DePere and Rye in Appleton.  All his restaurants have the same philosophy:  Fresh, simple, locally-sourced, hand-crafted, seasonal, organic and chef-driven.  Managing the front you will find his son, Lucas Schoenfeld behind the bar.  Aaron Havlovitz is our chef bringing fresh, new ideas to compliment our menu.  Please find us at www.chivesdoorcounty.com or email Jason, our Director of Operations at chivesdoorcounty@yahoo.com.  Catering available.

Well if you’re still thinking about coming up to Baileys Harbor for the tourney, we have got some great last minute rooms for you to choose from!

Maxwelton Braes Lodge features a variety of size rooms starting at $109/night + tax. Rooms range from Standard one bedroom units to two bedroom suites. Pasta Vino, the onsite restaurant, serves dinner and cocktails Thurs – Sun starting at 5pm. No need to drink and drive! The resort also has a great golf course that is open in case you get that monster fish early and decide you don’t have to fish the rest of the tourney.

Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort has rooms and suites starting at $119/night + tax.  What’s better than relaxing in the hot tub and pool after a long day on the water? Most of the suites have full kitchens if you’d rather stay in and cook, or if you need a good breakfast before heading out on the water.

Baileys Sunset Motel & Cabins has motel rooms with two double beds or a king size bed for $50/night + tax. There’s plenty of trailer parking at this great facility just north of town as well as charcoal grills, campfires, and plenty of freezer space available.

Journey’s End has cabins starting at $140/night + tax for two nights and $130 for three nights or $120 for four nights and motel rooms starting at $68/night + tax. A fisherman favorite, this place is located a half mile from downtown and the marina.
